Description

The Stefan AudioArt Endorphin is a new innovative high-end headphone cable which take our current E-Series audiophile headphone cable design to the next level with unrivaled performance and comfort and will outperform any other headphone cable on the market regardless of price.

The most important information we have gained in over 12 years of headphone cable design comes from our customers. Hundreds of serious listeners have reported back to us indicating that the sum of all the improvements offered by our audiophile, high-end and ultra high-end headphone cables translates into a unique emotionally involved listening experience with unrivaled realism and purity.

The heart of the Endorphin is a uniquely engineered conductive surface formula allowing the rich well balanced capabilities of the Sennheiser HD800 to be experienced with impact and emotional involving characteristics. We designed and tested dozens of our own conductive surface formulas which consisted of the purest copper available combined with proprietary conductive enhancing material so the HD800 would perform at the highest level possible with optimal user comfort. This approach opposes all other headphone cable manufacturers who just select “off the shelf” materials which in turn do not offer comprehensive solutions to sonic and ergonomic improvement.

The soul of the new SAA Endorphin is achieved by engineering a headphone cable with 90% less non-conductive material which lowers the resistance to the audio signal and increases the richness, clarity and definition across the audio spectrum. In addition the soundstage presentation opens-up to expose the listener to music which becomes truly engaging and captivating. Ergonomically, the structure of new Endorphin is light and soft which eliminates the microphonic characteristics normally associated with headphone cables.

Three Connector options are available each with optional Wood Splitters (see drop down menu above for all combinations) :

  • –  Alchem 4-pin xlr for connection to headphone amplifier.
  • –  Alchem 2 x 3-pin xlr for connection to headphone amplifier.
  • –  Ebony/ Cocobolo Wood Shell 2 x 3-pin xlr for connection to headphone amp.

Our custom handmade/hand polished ebony/cocobolo wood shell xlrs and our custom designed Alchem xlrs are the sonic equalvents as all three of these options will deliver the music in a more natural/organic fashion, display greater transparency and reveal subtle inner detail.

No other headphone cable available is engineered for sonic performance and user comfort like the Stefan AudioArt Endorphin:

  • HD800 specific conductive surface material
  • Soft, light weight custom braid-hovering structure
  • Specialized non-conductive component preparation
  • Hand Made Wood or Integrated flex splitter
  • Custom SAA Wood or Alchem xlr connectors
  • Quiet zero micro-phonic structure
  • Unmatched built quality and appearance

Note: the Endorphin headphone cable is designed using delicate internal parts and should be treated with the same care as the finest headphones.

    Dear James,

The Endorphine cables (headphone cable for Senn 800S and XLR interconnects) arrived Nov. 5th, election day in fact. So they’ve been in use since then, and I think it is time for feedback now.

To cut things short – I was blown away by the improvement from the first minute on. Now I could reiterate what others have said, like incredibly precise bass, natural sweet treble, excellent soundstaging, but it is not just this that makes these cables so special. First of all they really allow the superb Phonitor xe preamp to fully realize its potential, resulting in a musical presentation that is incredibly detailed and natural without being fatiguing or over-analytical. What I admire most is that these cables have an uncanny ability to recreate the live atmosphere of a recording venue, giving breathing space and ambience to instruments and voices. Schubert’s great C-major symphony recorded live at the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein – I was in the audience then, and I swear listening to it now precisely recreates the acoustics and the athosphere of this evening. Provided the recording itself is a perfect one, the effect is breathtaking. Same with Ars Antiqua Austria’s recording of Biber’s Rosenkranz Sonatas – the intimate acoustics of the 500-year-old Hallstatt parish church comes alive with utmost clarity, warmth and precision. Any good recording truly gives sheer delight with the Endorphines, so that for mw for the the first headphone listening gives the same satisfaction as listening via the loudspeaker chain and is no longer second choice for late-night listening.

Fantastic product worth every dollar – but last week I said to myself human beings don’t have much of an acoustic memory, maybe I was betraying myself that the difference to the previous cables wasn’t that dramatic after all. So I went for a quick back comparison, reinserting the Senn stock cable and the old RCA interconnects. The result was so shockingly frustrating that I cannot imagine anyone denying what difference in quality these cables provide unless this person is profoundly deaf.

Feel free to use this feedback for any purposes – the cables have been worth the long wait!
