the E-Series HD650 Classic is the classic finished version (black sheathing from the amplifier connector then white cable from the split to the headphone connection) of the E-Series audiophile headphone cable designed to displays all the great characteristics of the Sennheiser HD650 headphones with added detail and realism across the entire audio spectrum. With the E-Series headphone cable, your Sennheiser headphones will reveal pure low bass, perfect midrange along with the fine detail of voice and instruments without the loss of warmth which is characteristic of a silver based headphone cables. Architecture: The E-Series HD650 Noir incorporates a highly modified version of the original Sennheiser spade connector. The Sennheiser spade connectors are significantly enhanced sonically in the tradition of the Stefan AudioArt's highly refined capsule design. The SAA spade capsule is a proprietary design which functions to strengthen the area of connection, dampen cable noise and enhances the audio signal. It undergoes several non-conductive material treatment procedures which have been modified over time and is an intrinsic part of the highly acclaimed E-Series performance. Construction : 4-conductor quad-braid field geometry cable consisting of linear induced isolation constructed ultra pure copper enclosed with a Teflon/Oxygen dielectric finished in minimum absorption Techflex. The E-Series headphone cable incorporates proprietary contact enhanced professional connectors with either 3.5-mm or ¼” configuration. The E-Series cable is assembled with a special handcrafted process which has been refined over many years to meet the state of the art audiophile standard.Incorporating the original locking Sennheiser spade connectors into the E-Series cable design, insures the best possible interface (both mechanical and electrical) with your Sennheiser headphones. The refined Sennheiser spades lock into the headphones molded port for trouble free operation and provide optimal contact with the headphone counterpart.
