The SAA spade capsule is a proprietary design used on the Equinox HD650 and HD600/580 headphone cables. The capsule's function is to strengthen the area of connection, dampen cable noise and enhances the audio signal. It undergoes several non-conductive material treatment procedures which have been modified over time and is an intrinsic part of the highly acclaimed Equinox performance. Construction: 4-conductor quad-braid field geometry cable consisting of linear induced isolation constructed ultra pure copper enclosed with a Teflon/Oxygen dielectric finished in minimum absorption Techflex. The Equinox headphone cable incorporates proprietary contact enhanced professional connectors with either 3.5-mm or ¼” configuration.
