The E-Series DT880 cable is a continuation of our unique approach to the performance enhancement of high end headphones through the thorough analysis of structural and electrical signal path properties. The Stefan AudioArt E-Series DT880 headphone cable is wired directly to the left and right beyerdynamic headphone drivers, thus eliminating the headband pass through. This allows the right and left channel signal paths to travel equal distance and removes a significant portion of the pollution. Specifically, the headband pass through adds to a reduction in sound-stage and loss of definition and detail. Construction : 4-conductor quad-braid field geometry cable consisting of linear induced isolation constructed ultra pure copper enclosed with a Teflon/Oxygen dielectric finished in minimum absorption Techflex The E-Series headphone cable incorporates proprietary contact enhanced professional connectors with either 3.5-mm or ¼” configuration.
