As a  former Sennheiser Applications Engineer, musician and long-time audiophile, James Serdechny has worked extensively with Sennheiser, AKG and Beyerdynamic headphones.  For years he designed various cables for audiophile recording studios.  Developing audiophile and high quality headphone cables became a priority when he and his colleagues discovered that the cables were the weak link. 

After a three-year research and development program which included an exhausting number of headphone cable designs, the Stefan AudioArt Equinox line of cables were born.  

Equinox line of cables are true audiophile headphone cables, handcrafted to the highest standard using the finest materials available.  Each cable and the associated connector undergo an extensive proprietary contact enhancing treatment before and after assembly. The process is designed to eliminated a majority of the degrading effects the non-conductive surfaces of the cable and connectors have on the audio signal. The process adds several hours to the assembly time and considerable cost to the overall assembly.
